A Kind Act

At Christmas, I asked the class to make cards to send to a former student who was serving with the Marines in Iraq.

He shared them with the Marines and today, he is back in the world for a while, came to the school and at assembly presented a pin and an award to all the kids who had made a card.

He was kind enough to present me with a flag that had flown over the base.

I gave him a packet of "victory prayers" NOT peace prayers, that the kids had written to take back.

His kindness meant a lot to the 7 Th grade and did the Corps proud.
