z1r
Here's a quick pic or two of a 9.3x62 I'm working on. Stock was just inletted today. Since the pic, I have finished the schnabel, and it looks good if I do say so myself. Here's the action.
Clemson
Who hoo, purty!! I like that barrel profile. By the way, how is the .257 Bob coming along? Clemson
z1r
Clemson, the 257 is done, it just needs a stock. Too bad wood is so expensive, at least the kind I like, lol. Perhaps more importantly, wood just takes forever. Maybe I should mix some Viagra into the finish?
wfpack14
looks real nice Mike, What type of action is this one built on?

z1r
looks real nice Mike, What type of action is this one built on? Judging by the markings left on the receiver it started life as a G-98. Then it was customized intrawar and given commercial proofs.
Ron J
Z-great overall look. Is that the way the recvr looked, the engraving I mean? Or did you do it? Also, who's front sight?
z1r
NECG front sight that I customized. Here's the rear sight: Some of you may remember this from long ago: The engraving came with the action. It is a style I will learn to do eventually. I used the original stock to make this pattern from. When I modified the pattern the wood in the original pattern was too nice to not use.
Ron J
Your version of their sight is much nicer than theirs. I like their flip type 2 bead, but the popular one is just that. It's a blue Camaro already. Very neat swivel mount, too. What happens with the bolt release when rear sights are mounted there?
