"the Hurt Locker"

We saw "The Hurt locker" on DVD.

You know I figured that my war was PC but if that movie is any thing like reality, the kids are fighting or perhaps

policing would be a better word with one arm tied.

It was more like a police eod unit back in the Bronx except that the hoods have automatic weapons.

FC, Jimro, and you other guys, my hat is off to you.

You are men among men.

Take it with a grain of salt.

Yes there are a LOT of restrictions on what we can and cannot do, but as long as you focus on the goal and do what you can do to get to that goal your unit will make progress. Focusing on the restrictions doesn't solve problems, but every once in a while we get together and gripe about the BS ROE we have to work under.

I haven't seen the movie.

No boasting here- I'm too deaf to be deployed anymore, so the compliments to the guys who go. I liked the original rules of engagement where, if we felt threatened, we could shoot. That was too good to last.
