ken98k
I'm enjoying a lazy day, texting my two boys on opposite sides of the country and starring out at the cold back yard.
karlunity
That is breathtaking. I was in Alaska in the late 70's at the Army Northern Warfare School. Wonderful place like going back in time. If the Hippy could stand cold I would be there now. karl

ShooterTom
Snow that doesn't melt the next day, is one day too many for me.
ken98k
That is breathtaking. It's much nicer looking at it on the computer! It was -18 when I took the photo, it's now warmed up to -
sayak
We had about 12 above today. Lazy day here too, so my wife and I decided to haul firewood by snowmachine along the bank of the Kasilof River. We filled up two sleds twice to add to our wood pile. After a work-out like that you feel kind of rummy at the end of the day, but I'll sleep like a baby tonight. Ice fishing tomorrow!
PRegner
If I thought I could find a decent job in Alaska, I'd move there myself. John Muir once said, “No young person should ever visit Alaska. For they will be spoiled by the beauty and no place, they ever go to, will be as beautiful”. ken98k
How's that jeep restoration project coming? I talked to a pro body man in october about finishing the bodywork for me. I'm just waiting for him to have a free bay in his shop.
