  1. The Kar 98 is a small ring 98 with a large shank barrel. It uses the large rings bolt spacing. Bob
  2. Very nice Sailorman. The rifle in the top pic is the look I'm after. Bob
  3. Not what I was looking for but thanks Bob
  4. Does anyone know what to put on maple to bring out the fiddle back . Seems like I read something about wiping with some type of acid. Thoughts? Bob
  5. You should hear four. Spells out C O L T. Bob.
  6. Karl, I've been there a couple of times. The place is always packed. The prices are reasonable. It about an hours drive for me or I would go more often. They have a large selection of used guns. Cool place. Bob
  7. Try MSC for drilll bushings. They should have what you need. Bob
  8. Clemson, How about an update on your project. Bob
  9. Rustyvper Sounds like a good project to me. The origional barrel did have steps. They were probably removed. If the barrel cleans up good it should make a good hunting rifle. I would clean the barrel and shoot it to see if it is good. Aftermarket stocks are avaible for the Swedish Mauser. Pics as you progress please? Bob
  10. I wish to express my thanks to all of you veterans today. Thank you. Bob
  11. FC My limited experience with non-lead pellets is this. The non-lead pellets are so much lighter, that they fly at a greater velocity, making them unstable. I tried some of the Crossman non-lead pellets. Try a heaver pellet. Bob
