AzRednek
It appears that the media has pretty well buried the protestors causing major traffic jams in the Phoenix area in and around the Trump rally. I saw hundreds so I suspect thousands of cars were forced to make u-turns away from the rally. Had to travel through Scottsdale and police set up road blocks the keep traffic away from the protestors. Protestors blocked every road to the suburb of Fountain Hills where the rally was held..The protestors after blocking all lanes of traffic with their vehicles. Chained themselves to their cars and pickups making it difficult to tow them away. I couldn't see it but I bet the cops were gentle removing the protestors with all the media cameras. Myself and at least a hundred cars refused to turn around and awaited apx 90 minutes for traffic to begin moving. Many parked their cars and hiked the apx five mile uphill hike over a mountain. Trump's appearance was delayed about an hour. Despite many motorists being told by Scottsdale Police the rally was canceled a crowd estimated at 10,000+ showed up and waited in 90 degree heat for Trump's speech. Local talk radio said Trump's speech and appearance on stage was shortened due to security concerns. Trump spoke for about 20 minutes. An estimated 5,000 early arrivers before the road blocks got into a good position to see Trump. Police and Secret Service opened up about a 100 yard area keeping the rest of the crowd away from the stage. A Deputy told me the separation in the crowd was established by Secret Service calling it a "safe zone". The zone was kept clear by some bad-ass looking cops, many wearing tactical gear. Numerous cops on horseback and those on foot with some mean looking hyper dogs. My guess, it was done to keep protestors away from Trump, his entourage and some Republican VIP's that were seated near the stage. Our former Governor that had gained national notoriety for the photo of her finger pointing as she lectured Obama. Got an applause as loud as Trump. There were a few protestors in the crowd I stood in. Most of their chants were drowned by FU's, get a job or go back to Mexico. I saw some older, wimpy looking, 60's hippie type pushed and tripped by Trump fans. A group of five, as Rush has named them, fema-Nazis. Carrying signs saying things like "Trump calls women dogs" or "Hillary for women". Many in the crowd yelled "pigs" or oinked. Guy close to me barked, mimicking Hillary I guess. For some reason I can't load my cell phone photos. I'll try later to post them.
FC
The protesters are getting the attention they crave. What if we did this to Hillary?
rdm1962
How many of the protesters car had out of state plates? Just like in Ferguson and the Trump rally last week most were out of state people. Law Enforcement should check ID's and jail all out of staters for peace disturbance. RalphI never got close enough to see the protestor's vehicles. Police set up a road block apx five miles away. According to the local news, only three arrests. Naturally the police using pepper spray to remove some of the protestors was reported here locally. The protesters are getting the attention they crave. What if we did this to Hillary? Not exactly getting as much attention as they want. There were many more roads blocked and a larger crowd than what was reported on any news broadcast I saw. Myself included along with many refusing to leave and head back to Phx were interviewed by an ABC news camera crew caught in the jam with those refusing to leave. I only saw about a ten second clip of the woman interviewed right after me. There was one man interviewed, obviously well to do judging by his dress, Beemer, trophy woman and gold chains. He gave the camera man a real ass chewing blaming the networks for encouraging the protestors. After the interview concluded. The camera man shut off his camera and apologetically said to the guy. "Sir I just work here" and tried to explain he had no input into the content of what is reported.

AzRednek
I suspect that this is going to get very interesting. Trump in 16 karl Hasn't been this interesting since 68 and the attempt by the Dixiecrats and later a 3rd party candidacy by George Wallace. It was before I was old enough to vote but I became active politically, some of which I'm ashamed of. I saw a Wallace rally here in Phoenix. The protestors in the crowd went nuts after Wallace said kind words about the Phx Police Dept. The protestors left their seats and sat down on the stairways. Their sit down protest didn't work as it was in Berkley and many universities. The cops didn't gently carry them out. Cops literally dragged them by their arms and legs. I'll never forget watching a long haired hippie being forced out by a cop with a shotgun in his back. I heard about but didn't see it. Phx cops supposedly using their billy clubs under the protestors chins to drag tem out. Wallace to my surprise and to many in the crowd sounded some what supportive of Caesar Chavez and the farm workers. Promising to end the violence and bring both sides to the bargaining table. I missed the Phx 1968 appearance of Hubert Humphrey. From what I recall Humphrey was harassed by Nam War and Draft protestors while visiting the Phx VA Hospital. Seems I recall protestors gathered outside the gates the military bases in the Phx area during Humphreys visit. Kind of amusing. One thing about the 68 election that really sticks in my mind was Spiro Agnew. His use of so-called 50 cent words were sending journalists scrambling to dictionaries. I really thought I was cool wearing one of the coveted Spiro Agnew t-shirts after the election.
AzRednek
Sorry I'm afraid to post any photos from the recent Trump rally. My computer might be infected. Its locked up on me three times today, once yesterday and my Norton firewall was turned off this morning for some unknown reason.

AzRednek
Remember the Agnew watch? I have a vague recollection of the watch. I also recall somebody with a Spiro Agnew billboard. Used to be radio promotional contests in the late 60's where the winner got to put anything clean and legal on a billboard for a month. Somebody, a practical joker I guess won and selected to put Spiro Agnew on a billboard. If I remember right it said something like "the world's only Spiro Agnew billboard". I can't recall if it had the "great American" slogan the t-shirts often had on it.
