  1. I was going to use steel and bend and file it to a proper shape.
  2. I know a guy who says he did, but has anyone else? Obviously that's how trigger guards were made in the old days. What materials should I use?
  3. Hmmm $170 for an E.R. shaw barrel plus some fitting by me, or have them do it for $285. The benefit is a more valuable gun, and I can do whatever caliber I want. The bad part is how much that will cost. Tough choice. i'm really only doing the gun for knowledge's sake.
  4. Are there any companies that sell barrels to be put on an Arisaka, or might I have to buy a blank and go from there. Also, could a Type 38 barrel be put on a Type 99? - Thanks
