  1. I want to hear some opinions of the various after market triggers for the 98 Mauser, especially those without the safety. I have looked at the Bold and Timney and they seem comparable. How do they stand up quality wise and usage wise? Oh... I have read several threads under the Triggers and Safety section, but they were older threads. All my experience has been with military and various factory triggers.

GA1Dad, If it's a 93 Mauser the bolt head bottom will be flat and if it's a 95 it's round with a gas port on the botton between the lugs and the receiver notched where the bolt turns down into it. It provides a little extra bit of safety. Both the 93 and 95 were typically cambered in 7x57.
  3. Be careful there... most military sights have an indexing screw that goes into the barrel.
