Better than I expected, There is no visable rust or pitting that I can see so far. So as long as there are no suprises under the stock I did well.

All parts are there (screws, pins, swivels. etc.) Action moves freely. A small crack at the cleaning rod channel and a wrist repair that looks like a bug got to it or dry rot nothing to complain about.

How soon till you shoot it? I'm curious about caliber, loading data etc. The rifling looks like it is begging for a lead slug!!

I'm working on it asap i can hardley stand the wait. My .577/450 die set came in, I still need to hunt down brass, It really was an impulse buy so Im learning as I go. I will post pics or video when she roars back to life after her long nap.
