riceone
Finally got a Jinsen T38 Series 30 Rifle. All matching, beautiful wood and metal, but mum is altered. Seems to never have been issued. roy

AzRednek
congrats, that's a dandy She's a beauty for sure, the bluing really looks good, did you wax it ? I see you lucked out and got one with a cleaning rod. Took me years to find one in pre-Internet days. In the 70's an original cleaning rod sold for allot more than the rifles were fetching. After complete Jap rifles started coming in from China in the 80's the cost of cleaning rods went down to almost reasonable from beyond ridicules. Did you luck out and get a dust cover and remove it for the pictures?
Clemson
Holy Cow, Batman! That has to be the nicest Jap I have seen in many moons. Congratulations! Clemson
riceone
I have done nothing to the metal or wood on the Jinsen, its just like I got it. Came out of a collection in Pennsylvania. It did not have a cover with it. Unless a cover is matching I don't leave it on even if it came with the rifle. I'm proud of this rifle. riceone
J.B
Nice jinsen 38. These are more rare than the jinsen type 99s!!! BTW, never apply any kind of wax to arisakas, I just got done looking at one that had turtle wax put on it(maybe it was clearcoat), and it wasnt pretty.
