jrhweldon
Thanks AKSHOOTER for the reply , even if it's not the what I wanted to hear , my job has me tied down so much I don't have time to do much and the wife says I hardly talk to her so 4 or 5 evenings in my shop to do the work will really set her off, but I guess thats the way life goes , well I'd better get to the shop and assemble a pistol for a friend before she gets back from the store thanks agian and have a good day jrhweldon
gun nutty
Have you tried a Remington 700 magazine assembly? I recall from somewhere that they work with the M-17/P-14. Maybe it was just the follower. I'd rather modify the existing that deal with a pot-metal Remington, but there are aftermarket all-steel M700 assemblies. http://www.deathfromafar.com/htm/08_products_detail.php?id=543 $345. That's crazy.
