  1. I would like to get his contact info as well He bent a bolt for me years ago and I would like to get another one done
  2. Well I just got done installing a Timney on my 03-A3 Sporter. Lots of moding to make it fit and function. First I had to file done the top of the trigger housing where it mates to the action to get the pin hole to line up. Then I had to remove some metal where the sear contacts the bolt, of the bolt not the sear. Then reajust the overtravel so the bolt would not drag when fired. Then open up the trigger housing slot, then trim the bottom of the trigger to clear the trigger gaurd. When all said and done the trigger is 2.75 lb., it was 4.75 lb. with a ton of creep and overtravel. Tiny bit of creep, real tiny but I notice it. A little to much overtravel but I will have to get use to it. Overall a much nicer trigger, but not what I was hoping for. Next my non-Sporter is getting a Huber trigger, I read they are very nice.
  3. Got some Cast Bullets coming, Now I need some load Data. Where do I find it ?
  4. I looked at the sight and they don't even have any pics of their product. No phone # and no email contact. Half of their Links don't even work. Just an address to send money to
  5. I agree; and I already have the Kinetic Puller.
  6. Well I found a Screw just by chance. Going through my box of left over parts I found the original trigger from a CZ75 I had. In that trigger was the set screw for over travel. Bammo it fit perfect
  7. Problem is definetely the Greek ammo. I measured the ammo and compaired it to SAAMI specs And the shoulder is off by as much as .020 , most measured .016 long. SAAMI = 1.9480 Greek Case = 1.964 I also measured my Headspace on both 03A3's Sporter measured .007 Headspace Original measured .004 Headspace So this stuff must have been made for the Garand So before I fire anymore of this ammo I pull it down and bump the shoulder back. Has anyone ever resized a loaded round. Also weighed the powder, 54.2 gr. of Ball powder Bullets, 152gr.
  8. Went to the range again today. I am really diggin' this rifle This is at 100yds. it is a 2" circle and at 100yds I can barely see it. Greek M-2 Ball Scope ? I don't need no Stinkin' Scope
  9. Well I got out to shoot my new 03A3. Some of the Greek Ammo chambers fine, most is tight chambering. When I say tight Chambering I mean when you close the bolt it is tight, the headspace seems to tight. My Reloads chamber smooth as Silk. I do not have a 30-06 headspace gauge I'm thinking about pulling down the Ammo and resizing the cases. What do you all think ?
  10. Well I went to the range today for a very short session. This is 50yds. Greek M2 Ball I am very happy with this rifle, shooting 1" groups @ 50yd with open sights is pretty darn good for me. Man I want to scope this thing so bad, Talk me out of it ! Bottom left target is 4 shots
  11. First stage of bedding. I need to get more acraglass before I can do the final stage
  12. Here is what I did. Basically I bedded it with Acraglass Gel. Drilled some holes to create a Mechanical Lock. It has a screw that is already installed in the place where a Cross Bolt would be so I think it should be fine as long as my bedding job comes out OK. I could not add another screw because the one in there was only about 1/4" down.
  13. This is an 03A3. It also has a pin at the rear of the action.
  14. There is a pin that goes through the stock, I guess where a Cross Bolt would go. Can I remove the pin and install a Cross Bolt ?
  15. But that one in your pic is turned down, did you get it that way ?
