724wd
I dropped off my yugo m24/47 pattern and blank with roger biesen this morning. some of you may remember, i was looking for someone to cut a yugo stock on a blank i have, and the usual suspects kept coming up... richards, boyds... and that was about it. anywho, living in spokane near al and roger biesen, and having had them cut a pre-64 stock for me on a blank i had, i was interested if they had a yugo pattern. it's not listed on their website, and i talked to roger, and he didn't think he had one. so i aquired a richards 2nd (thanks z1r!) and modified it to what i wanted. perhaps i was not explaining to roger what i had (yugo m24/47) very well, because today, when i handed him the action, he went to the back of the shop and pulled out a pattern stock! it's a very nice biesen style - looks just like the M98 stock they have on their website. if you're interested in a yugo stock and want it on your blank, (roger also has lots of wood in stock) there is another possibility! Clemson
Thanks for the information. For obvious reasons (see D&T thread) I am in the market for an intermediate stock. What is Biesen's website address? Clemson

FC
I've had 3 stocks done by Roger Biesen. The work was fine. I cut the basic shape instead of leaving it rectangular, then got charged for "blocking" that needed to be done for him to do the work. I had to ask twice for a receipt. I had to ask at least twice for him to hurry with the job, now I have to nag again to get someone's stocks finished up and sent to them (I supplied the wood). Too much hassle. It needs to be run like a business.
