I've been working on this one for a couple years off and on.

Single shot 30-06, built on a Parker-Hale sniper receiver. I'm guessing it weighs about 12 lbs.

I haven't shot it yet but it functions flawlessly with dummy rounds.

That's a nice job!

Did that start out as a Parker Hale casting?

I'm anxious to see a range report. I bet the long and heavy barrel prints pretty tight.

I was going to load up a few rounds for it tonight but an old friend showed up and ----

Maybe this weekend.

I finally got around to shooting this rifle. I fired 50 rounds of 175 grain "Tubb Final Finish" bore Lapping bullets, running a couple patches through after each 5 rounds. I was easily getting 1" groups @ 100 yards. A better shooter could reduce that by half.
