AzRednek
He's out with no help from our Chicken XXX In Chief. I'm sure if he would have mistakenly carried across some medical pot Obama would have been Johnny On The Spot getting him out. There will likely be several elected reps taking credit but the one I heard doing the most for him was his Mexican lawyer. From what I've heard his first two lawyers didn't do jack. People I've known that have been in trouble in Mexico have told me the Mexican lawyers are as crooked as the govt. In the 60's, Friend of my dad spent a few weeks in a Mexican jail until his family shelled out over 5 G's for a steer he ran over. Family paid the lawyer who in turn paid police and jail officials money under the table to keep him alive and safe. The Mexicans kept his nearly new pick-up with a deluxe camper and boat he was towing. If I recall the facts correctly. State Farm Insurance had an exemption for confiscation by govt or police. My dad's friend had to hire an attorney to get State Farm to consider it a theft and pay the claim with 1/3 going to the US lawyer. He was within the 100 or so miles from the border his coverage included. In my teen years had several friends got arrested in Nogales and Senoita for drunkenness. I thought it was pretty cool at 16 going to a bar ordering a beer. I never did get fall down stupid drunk knowing I had a 3 hour drive home. Seemed my friends that drank the Egg Nog/Bourbon drinks were the ones that got in trouble. The Egg Nog had Opium in it. Family members usually had to shell out several hundred to get their teenagers released. One close friend was held on drug charges. Believing he was buying Spanish Flys. He had really bought home-made compressed Gypsum pills. Mexican police knew the pills were phony but used it as an excuse to bleed his mother out of additional cash getting him released. In Mexico if one pays the fine to police, don't have to wait several weeks to see a Judge.

AzRednek
As a teenager I made good money traveling into Mexico. I'd get as much as 5 bucks for a $1.00 switchblade but made a real killing on M-80's, Cherry Bombs and Roman Candles in Phoenix. I'd always get a sex starved buddy to shell out for gas or pay 5 bucks a head for a ride knowing he was going to get a girl for $5.00 and get served in a bar. Back in the late 60's during slow week days. The locals treated us nearly like royalty. There were no gangs or cartels back then. It all ended after a car load of us were stopped, frisked and my car searched on the Az side. One friend got caught with a bottle of rum, all the fireworks confiscated but even worse the Customs agent turned us in for ditching school. brokengun
Our man should have never spent a single day in prison. One of ours accidently crosses the border and spends 214 days behind bars while millions cross our border every year and they get a free ride plus an Obola phone. Something is wrong

AzRednek
One phone call president to president and he would have been home in a week. karl Like I previously posted. If he had been coming across with anything but the so-called dreaded assault rifles. Obama would have been right on it.
