Reloader Data Log Or Notebook

In the past I've never had my reloading information organized very well...just assorted pieces of paper that mean something at the time but 10 years later mean nothing. I need a good downloadable data sheet that I can make a notebook with. Maybe divide by caliber or guns or both with tabs...whatever I'm testing and the details surrounding that....chronograph results...group size and on and on. Does anyone know a good site or sites that have that kind of info. I'm getting a little older and my memory isn't as good as it once was but I at least know that I need to record all the pertinent data and I'm sure someone has put together some good data sheets to record this info on....so I'm losing my memory but I'm getting a little wiser.

Thanks in advance for sharing,

Jerry

Huh!!! My poor ole mac can't make nothin' out of that!!

No problem tho as a 3 ring note book has been serving me since the 70's... If only I could read my writing I could still load some great old loads!!! MV

Bob that is a way cool program...I can put that on my laptop which I plan to use in the loading room (sort of a loading room anyway...I can dream can't I?) and collect a world of information but there's no way that my laptop will stay up and running at the range very long to collect all that velocity information, etc. I need something that I can print out and put in a notebook and bring back to the house and use this wonderful program. Now that you've introduced me to this program, I want to use it but I still need something like a notebook to collect all the data while at the range. Anybody got any good downloadable paper forms or data sheets that can be filled out at the bench and later at the range...kept in a notebook...brought back and then entered into this program that Bob has so graciously shared with us?

Thanks Bob....too cool.

I use Point Blank Ballistic also. I can't seem to remember a download link though.

I attatched a scan of the form I made years ago. I keep my data sheets in a three ring binder seperated by tabs for each caliber.

Bob,

that site is HuntingNut.com

Maybe we can make this a collaborative effort. I'm exhausted right now so I'm not thinking too clearly...3 Coronas probably doesn't help...and 12 hour high-stress days...but I'm thinking of dividing one sheet into what we will call mandatory information that one needs and optional information that may or may not be filled out....I'm not sure I will record the velocity for every shot but would like to have the option...weather conditions...cold or hot...windy or not with plenty of room for comments....just one sheet for each loading perhaps so that there is plenty of room. I don't even know what all needs to be included at this point...needs some reflection. What do you think?

Anyway, you guys have done a lot of work and I appreciate what you have done already, but collaboratively we probably can make the Mother of all reloading data sheets.

Thanks guys, I'm shot,

Jerry

Hi Bob,

Another 12 hour day but I did get in a bunch of stuff I had ordered. Been out there putting some of it together. Got me a portable shooting bench, a gun cleaning vise, a new tackle box for cleaning supplies (the one I had was crap), a new chronograph, a few elk bullets, some 300 weatherby brass, new cutters for my case trimmer, some nylon bristle bore brushes, a supposedly universal bore guide for cleaning now I need to order another bushing to fit one of my guns. some one shot, alignment rods and hone for 30 mm tubed scopes. Got a lead sled coming and a new caliper and micrometer. It's like Christmas! But I still need some stuff! Fortunately the new Midway flyer just got here. I'm off tomorrow so maybe I can think about the data sheet some. Looks like you have are on the right track to me. We'll tweak it some more after some thought...OK? 911rat, didn't mean to leave you out because what you posted added to what Bob was doing...so thanks to both.

Thanks for all your work,

Jerry

Oh, an afterthought; I would like some really neat way to mount these scopes that will have them level and true...who makes the best product for that? I just never feel like mine are perfect...they look ok but I'm always doubtful....I'm setting the Weatherby 300 up to shoot out to 300 yards and I want it to hit the bullseye

all the way out there!

Thanks again,

Jerry
