If you're serious about another 1911. Grab-A-Gun has an ATI 1911 for 359.

A few years ago I got an ATI-92. The only difference between it and an Italian made 92. The ATI does not have chrome lined bore but uses steel instead of a plastic follower. According to ATI. Beretta out sourced much of its Italian 92 series manufacturing to the same Turk factory that made the ATI. The exceptions are springs and barrels. Both the ATI and Italian Beretta use Magpul mags. I was out the door with the ATI-92 for about 275.The Turk factory has copy catted numerous firearm's designs like the Sig, CZ handguns, Italian O/U shotguns and Bennelli semi's..Similar to what the Japs and Chinese have copied with US electronics.
