AzRednek
I've been watching this auction, a K98 stock that sold on Ebay for $190. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:B:WNA:US:1123 Got me thinking I could buy a K98 for $230, sell the stock for 190 and wind up with a barreled action for a net cost of $40.00. I know I'm shooting dice with a Russian refinished stock but I'm tempted to try it. I would have to drive to J&G to be certain I got the cupped buttplate stock. When they are not busy they will pull 3 mil-surps and allow you to cherry pick. If $$ weren't so tight for me I would likely buy 2 or 3, keep one original and sport the rest. http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/mi...roducts_id/1623
