FC
I think N. Korea needs a naval blockade to stop the h-bomb detonation in the Pacific.
karlunity
Well, you might put the squeeze to a degree on KIM with one. But as long as RC sees the need for NK as a buffer, they are going to at least keep the party and army fed. karl
AzRednek
If Rocketman continues his BS. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Japs start a blockade. If Rocketman sends a nuke into the Pacific as he claims he will do. Got a feeling the SWHTF big time especially if he launches it and sends it over Japan. I'm no expert on nukes but a Hydrogen nuke in the ocean will likely spread radiation and contaminate many countries shorelines. Hope and pray the Nork population revolt and assassinate the fat POS. FC
I was thinking he'd have to physically move the device to the Pacific. Not sure if he could launch it. None of this is good, but things are coming to a head.
karlunity
Should have let MacArthur finish the job in 1952... karl
Dr.Hess
A naval blockade is an act of war. Are we ready to do that? Dunno. So far, it's really just words and lobbing crap over Japan. I can see that the Japanese aren't too happy about that. What is our requirement to defend Japan these days? I think we'd at most be obligated to step is in the Norks actually attack Japan versus just shooting stuff over them. I mean, a Nork satellite passes over the whole earth in orbit very day, so where do you call it an act of war? Then again, where do we draw the line on threats to us? "We're gonna nuke you..." OK, that's it, gone. Take a cruise ship over to the island of South Korea. "And on the left we have the Island of South Korea. On the right we have China." We don't need another Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. Let the South Koreans and Chinese deal with the aftermath. Of course, that won't happen because our industry has set itself up to milk the government on "rebuilding." After 20 years of it, that's our only growth industry left. OK, that and prisons. FC
No good answer here. It's clear fat boy wants to be able to nuke anywhere he wants to. Are we okay with that? Not really!
karlunity
I suspect that his own generals and Red China will arrange a very "sad" accident or illness for Kim. karl
