AzRednek
With the upper levels of govt that is creating the stonewall of the investigation. I wouldn't surprised if he walks. If the prosecution fails hand over all the evidence, a mistrial is likely. Possibly whomever in govt is sitting on the evidence is doing it deliberately trying to save Birdhall's donkey. Somebody, somewhere in govt is trying to hide something.
ken98k
I'll bet he collects a fat pension for the rest of his life.
karlunity
I don't see how the Army can let him walk. If he does, then anyone who feels like walking away gets a pass. I suspect that they wanted to release those five and this seemed like the perfect excuse. If not for the net..the story WOULD have been that he was captured..and sick and dying and they had to move fast to save him...and they would have gotten away with it too. karl
Dr.Hess
I also suspected that they just wanted to let those 5 sandies go and used this as an excuse.
