AzRednek Posted November 12, 2015 Report Share Posted November 12, 2015 I found this off another board.Sorry, a bit off-topic, but 240 years ago, on November 10, 1775, two battalions of Marines were officially formed, meeting at Tun Tavern in Philadelpia. From that humble beginning has grown the organization you know as the United States Marine Corps. Through countless wars, large and small, the Marines have acquitted themselves with honor, courage and fortitude.So to my Marine brothers and sisters, happy 240th to you and to our Corps.Nothing worthwhile ever comes easily.
