The B by the serial number is a cursive B, top oval smaller than the bottom one and a short tail on the left side of the letter. I'll get it to the range again the first nice day we have..just back from the U.P....not as good as last year...we had hit a two day old moving sale near Newberry and the guy had guns at $25 each...Winchester Gallery .22 pump, two Remington nylon 66 and a high Standard 12ga pump...he just wanted them gone before moving, must had just dropped the prices that morning, cause I know a Yooper would not had passed on them at $25...we came home with a van load that year

For $330 I could not go wrong. The rifle is light and the front bead stays glued in the rear sight when swinging the gun onto a target.I have always eyed the Mannlicher stocked rifles, just never bought one till now.

Just picked up this K98 custom Mannlicher by Clyde Moore, Warren MI. I have read he built some very nice custom rifles and the auction price was right.At 39" It looks to be a great stalking rifle for the woods of northern Michigan. PFK WARSZAWA 1928 with serial #7392 looks like a B after it First Mauser I added to the safe, so I'm doing the research and finding out what I can on it..Roy
