A little off subject.

About 1975 I read a Soldier of Fortune article written by a South African mercenary. His article was an evaluation of various guns used in actual combat. The article was more like a big game hunting trip one might read in today's Guns N Ammo magazine. In the article word "spook" having a non racist definition to South Africans was used to describe the communist guerrillas and bad guys. Best I recall his favorites were the Browning Hi Power, Remington 870 12 ga and his favorite rifle I can't recall the model was a Scandinavian ( possibly Finn) version of the AK. The author despised the AR/M-16 saying something about it being like American autos and American men wearing gold chains. A show piece meant to elevate one's status in society. The author claimed the M-16 was a poor choice for a club and suggested using an American baseball bat instead. He also made some disparaging remarks about the then US President Carter and something derogatory about the US Navy.
