I was returning from Wally's and the road was blocked by fire trucks and cop cars. Fireman were doing CPR and cops banging on doors with guns drawn. Wanting to make a quick exit, just as I put it into reverse. I was suddenly blocked from backing up by three more cop cars. One cop finally moved his vehicle giving me a path out. Wife has been bugging me to move out of the area. Karl Something to consider. I will likely go further north in the Phoenix area. Central Phoenix looks more and more like Los Angeles. More than 50% of all Phx area residents were not here 10 years ago. Estimates of higher than 35% have come from California. Many bringing their California political views. A story that made the news a couple years ago. A California couple had just settled in the north Phx area. They saw a guy legally and openly carrying a handgun at a hamburger joint. The couple went to the news media after police refused to respond to their 911 call. Story made the news as the couple had put their house up for sale less than 30 days after moving in. The husband a published author. Piss and moaned while interviewed about the tens of thousands of dollars the move will cost him to get back to "a civilized society".
