FC
Well, after 80 or so rejections for jobs I finally have an initial job offer at VA. I'm happy! I was feeling out of options. It's not an informatics job, but I'm good at it.

AzRednek
Tony if you haven't already done so, sign up for the maximum on the life insurance. It wont cost that much and you may never be given the chance to increase it. You will not be able to find lower rates anywhere. You can lower it at nearly anytime and it usually takes effect within two pay periods. The rates increase as you age. During my 25+ years at the PO. There was only one open season for life insurance. Health insurance which you probably don't need. Has an annual open season. Not sure about what you'll be doing but I certainly hope you can make a difference improving the cluster screw going on in VA. GOOD LUCK/!! FC
Columbia, SC. It's a little over an hour away. I'll be working clinic and doing moderate sedation. I kind of wish that an informatics job at Denver would have moved quicker, because that's my current line of work. Thanks for the advice about life insurance.
