    Stock Shaping

Holy Snaps!!! Your rasping technique for the stock is cool and your bolt method is sweet. Did you eyeball the alignment of the bolt handle and the bolt before you welded it or did you use a jig?
  6. Wow! That is sweet. How does it shoot? ANy signs of the scope base shifting or any major type of alignment issues? Sweet project... I think I found my next project.
  7. BUMP!!! FM, Whats the word with the "safety" for this build?
  8. FM, Whats the word with the "safety" for this build?
  9. WOW!!! that is sweet!!! Did u use Duracoat on that paint job? Or is this spray paint?
  10. Hey FM, I was wondering, you must have a bunch of rifles (mausers) laying around your house. Have you ever thought about selling some?
  11. Your killing me!!! Aaaaahhh. Do you have the safety yet? That seems to be the ringer to see if these rifles are worth sporterizing.
  12. I have to BUMP this thread, with Mosins so easy to come by, this has the beginnings of a fad. Any updates FM?!?!?!
  13. I am here to push you some more Slseacrist... I was wondering, are you going to weld or silver solder the threaded ring into the action? I take it the barrel will only require a 1/3 turn to catch the threads? Are you going to use a set screw? The project is looking good.
