  1. Since you already have rifles to use, you could spread the work and cost over a period of time. Doesn't hurt all at once that way, and you can still end up with what you want......maybe better. Mike
  2. One of the nice things about this board is that we have such a diverse group. This gives us all access to the creativity of others. Oh, and welcome. Since I have retired, I have less time to myself than before, so I don't get by as often as I would like. Too many trips to Alabama. Mike
  3. You may want to give these guys a call to see what they are selling. http://www.rguns.net/016_14.html http://www.militarygunsupply.com/shop2/ind...products_id=325 The rguns are a complete action, the other does not have a trigger guard or small pieces. If you are going to use something else, you can save 20 bucks, other wise, you can't get the extras for 20 bucks....... Mike
  4. Don, your an inspiration to us all.
  5. Don, That is so Cool. Did you convert the floor plate also? Mike
  6. Yes, we do have the#2A, which was built in the 60's, specifially for the 308 nato round. But I don't think the average MK4 is quite up to that.
  7. What can a 303 MK 4 Enfield, safely, be rechambered for? Mike
  8. I read somewhere once that even the bison had a lot to do with keeping the prairies healthy. One of the reasons the herds kept moving was the fact that as they ate the grass down, the thousands of hooves churned the sod allowing the water and nutrients into the soil. Kinda like big hairy dethatchers......

  10. I always imagined retirement was doing what you want to do, not what you had to do.......

  13. I have never had a pierced primer, and I had to grind the right bottom corner off because of it catching on the safety. But it blued really nice, and it was tight fitting, but i would rather have a tight fitting part than a loose one. It looks good, and has done everything I needed it to do........ I am doing a M96 at the moment and I plan to put one on it...... Sorry about pictures, my Son made off with my camera.... Hope this helps...... Mike
  14. Yes, I have one on a '95, 7x57.
  15. Don, That looks really great. Could you throw a couple of measurements out there for a visually challenged one ???? Thanks Mike
