GA1dad
This may sound silly to some of you who have done lots of sporters,,,,,,, but for us newbies???? How do you take apart a Mauser bolt in prep for welding. Mine is a 95 Chilean, but I'm guessing that it would be similar on other Mausers. I am sitting here looking at it, and the process doesn't jump out at me. So before I pull a "Bubba",,,,,, maybe someone could offer guidence and a pic or two. Thanks in advance, Jay

Thanks in advance, Jay Put the bolt back in the rifle and close it so its cocked. Put the safety in the middle possition then open the bolt and remove it from rifle. Now just unscrew the the bolt shroud and firing pin from the bolt.
GA1dad
Thanks Kenak! I actually took the bolt with me to work today. After I got under some good lighting and was able to see, I figured out that it unscrewed. I kinda felt like a Goober for posting the question,,,,,, but Anyways, when in doubt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just ask. Thanks again.
