  1. I joined the reamer co-op several years ago but haven't done any new projects for quite some time. I donated 308 reamer and guages. Sure glad to see things are up and going again!
  2. Donmarkey, Thanks for all the info today!
  3. Can any of you guys recommend a good source for hot blueing my projects? Thanks in advance. Royce
  4. I joined and used the reamer co-op several years ago, but haven't done any rebarreling in quite some time. Is the co-op still operating? If so can anyone tell me how to contact them? I've got a new project and need a reamer and gauges. Thanks, Royce Owen
  5. Hey Z, what's involved in repairing the receiver? What kind of costs would be involved?
  6. Thanks for the info, guess I was just being too careful!!
  7. I need some advice on fitting an extractor collar on a 98 bolt. All the info i have says not to remove the collar unless you absolutely have to, but doesn't say anything else on the subject. I'm afraid that if I spread the collar wide enough to fit around the bolt I'll ruin it. Any Help would surely be appreciated.
  8. I'm in San Angelo, Texas.
  9. Thanks for your time Z. The barrel does not have sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
  10. I purchased a previously sporterized 98 Mauser recently for a project gun. On inspection by my gunsmith, I was informed that the receiver had suffered from lug setback. The rest of the parts are all in good shape, but I'm going to need to purchase a new receiver. Does anyone know of a good source for a standard length receiver? Thanks in advance, Royce.
