Uncle Grinch
Does anyone know the quality of Wilson barrels? I've read they are somewhat better than A&B, but lower in quality than the opther major player, ie... Shilen, Hart, etc... . How about the AA user Huntgrouse? Any info on him or his work? donmarkey
I've had good luck with wilson barrels. I would rate them better than a+b and shaw. Brian Perzone (huntgrouse) is a great guy to deal with. -Don

Clemson
Wilson makes factory quality barrels. If you are happy with stock Winchester, Remington, etc. barrels, you will be fine with the Wilson. They have been producing barrels for commercial installation for many years. Clemson

That was back when Ruger was soundly trashed for their poor shooting barrels. That was long ago. I haven't used one so I have no first hand experience. But based on my experience with ER Shaw, I'd definitely try one before another Shaw. A good customer of mine used one of Brian's 20" 9.3x62 barrels and is quite happy. I think proper installation is more than half the battle.
