FC
I'm seeing that .38 S&W is a very, very anemic round! Oh well, at least the lemon squeezer I have is fun to shoot.
Dr.Hess
Yeah. I recall that 38 Special was a step up.
pacrat
Ballistically equilavent to a 36 cal BP 1851 Colt but in a much smaller handier package. I have a Safety Hammerless S&W in 38 S&W. [lemon squeezer] With no SA capability, almost non-existant rear sight, and the 1 1/2 ton reeeeeally realy long trigger pull, beer cans are pretty safe at anything over 10 yds. But still fun to shoot.
karlunity
There is an Italian ammo co. "Fiocchi" that makes a pretty decent 38 sw round. I got hold of a box by accident and fired in a 38 sp.It did not seem weak. karl
FC
Problem is that you can't use anything but weak ammo in the 2nd model S&W. I shot at a target on a railroad tie. The sucker came back at me and hit me in the gut! Stung a bit!
