Dr.Hess
That there Unix stuff. Karl's gone Hi Tek. I bought a Dell laptop for 199 from Tiger Direct to watch movies on. HDMI plugs into the TV, 1TB book drive plugs into the laptop. And with internet hooked up, I can watch Amazon Prime too. I had an older Pentium something or other, but it wasn't fast enough for good resolution movies and it finally died.
karlunity
I have a love /hate thing with dells. Some are very very well made some are just not and you never know. But I must say sir that is a very creative setup. I did VGA from the box into the TV...the computer does not have HBMI ( too old) and sound out to sound in with a patch cord. Works. Not as much fun as going to the range...but you can do it at Home!!!! karl
Racepres
Yep. actually a dual install. Fedora 25 and windows 7. karl Install?? I keep my Linux on a USB drive...any computer is "my computer" and no trace when I leave. But, long as yer enjoying it!!!! Some folks laugh at me because I shoot 32ACP boolits in my 30-30.... or, cast in my 222. It's a C.O.B. thing!!!!! For me anyway
Dr.Hess
I loaded up some powder coated 200 GR cast boolits in 30-30. The mold is a Lee for 300 BO. Sized them after the powder coating, put on top of some IMR4198 I had laying around and it is a serious thumper. No leading either.
