donmarkey
I came across this receiver in a parts lot and it had a stripped rear guard screw hole. Instead of welding it up and redrilling and tapping, like I was going to do. I decided to get a little creative and try something I've never done before. Convert it to a blind hole. It stil needs some polishing and contouring, but I'll do that when I stock the gun. It didn't turn out too bad for a first attempt. Any suggestions for the next time. -Don
donmarkey
I like it a lot. What are you going to do about stock fitting? The rear ferrule. The stub, I used is the same diameter as the rear ferrule. So (in theory) all I should have to do is cut the ferrule down by the length on the stub and cut the rear guard screw down alittle. I'll find out when I stock it I guess. -Don
