RifleMan
I came across this little gadget, and wondered if anyone's tried it, and if so, how well does it work? http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=662634
Sailormilan2
Well, I have 3 of them, 30 Carbine, 308 Win, and 30-06. I have built a Tanker Garand in 308 using the that pull thru reamer, and a 30-06 Garand using that reamer. Both worked perfectly. I tried to chamber a Mauser using the 308 Pull Through and screwed it up. I am not sure how I did that, however, I believe that the bolt caught and didn't drop into position as it should have. Something I will have to watch in the future. But, they seem to work well for the Garands and M1As. I have not yet tried the 30 Carbine.
odies dad
I used one on my 223 Mauser. Worked great. Took 2 people to run it though. One to push the bolt and one to turn the reamer. I used a cordless drill turning slowly. When the bolt closed I stopped. Chamber is done.
