I found a guy on Auction Arms that is trying to sell a large batch of Shaw barrel blanks. I contacted him and got him to sell me two .257 cal #3 blanks for $65 each plus S&H. Total comes out to $146. They are 27" long and will require threading and chambering. I plan on building a couple of 25-06 rifles on Mausers and leave the barrel 26" for best velocity.

Cool what other cal's did he have?

I don't know what other calibers he has. I sent a message asking for a #2 or #3 profile .243 cal barrel and a #4 or #5 profile .308 cal barrel and he has not yet answered the email.
