I was looking for a Colt 1860 army but the shop was out. I picked up an 1851 in .44 and went with that. It is a pretty gun and I like the grip but I think that my Remy 1858 is a better pistol. I was thinking of getting a 1860 barrel and switching off..sort of two guns in one. Any Ideas? Karl

At Christmas, I asked the class to make cards to send to a former student who was serving with the Marines in Iraq. He shared them with the Marines and today, he is back in the world for a while, came to the school and at assembly presented a pin and an award to all the kids who had made a card. He was kind enough to present me with a flag that had flown over the base. I gave him a packet of "victory prayers" NOT peace prayers, that the kids had written to take back. His kindness meant a lot to the 7 Th grade and did the Corps proud. Karl

I think that AZ has a point that Unions have done some good. But when a people have lost their work ethic and fail to see the moral value of honest work matched with a corporate view that sees only the bottom line and not the moral duty of leader to the lead, you have the mindset of a WW I general and the result is an economic Verdun.
