Dr.Hess
I don't face book, Ken. Never. No account. I love you guys, but not going to start a f'book account. I am on: gunboards.com lotustalk.com harley-davidsonforums.com x.com/DrHessMD Note that f'book has been banning gun related stuff. A lot. We can create a Community on X. FC
I started one on Trump’s app, but nobody joined. X is fine.
Dr.Hess
I can make a Community on X. How about 'Sporterizing' or 'Sporterizing dot Com (RIP)'? Should it be open where anyone can jump in or closed where an admin has to approve membership? Everyone can see all the posts either way, but with closed, you have to be approved to post in it. FC
I’d say open, but just my opinion. Would more guys join if it was something with a name including terms like: 1A, 2A, men, guns, free speech, etc.?
Dr.Hess
Open is OK with me. I'm new to the X thing. Haven't been on any "communities" actually, just looking at how they work. Something more descriptive in the name would make sense, but you put more stuff in the profile box that people can see with just a hover. A name should not be too long. Not sure what the limit is. So, a name like Sporterizing - Guns and Talk Sporterizing - Guns, Freedom Sporterizing - Guns and Community
FC
I prefer the first two.
Dr.Hess
Pick one and I'll make the group.
FC
Second one, in my opinion. Thank you! You or the guys might want to tip off the other sites you visit about the gunsmithing information they can get here for the next few weeks. FC
I'll head right over! Thanks. Took me a moment to figure out I had to click, "Latest" to see the posts there. Should posters have to "join" to post? Up to you. I don't see a way to start new threads, just reply to your original posting.
Dr.Hess
Well, your call was no on the join thing, so anyone can post without having to join/be approved. I can change it if there are problems later. This is all new to me, so I'm trying to figure it out as we go.
Dr.Hess
You should see a 'Join' button. I can't see it because I am already joined, having made the community. Click the Join button. If you don't see it, let me know.
FC
You're the boss on this one, so you make the call on stuff like who can comment.
Dr.Hess
OK. We'll leave it open. I doubt we'll have much trouble. FYI, S&W had their account suspended on f-book because... they posted about guns.

FC
I can't find the X site unless I follow your link here. We need to figure out how increase visibility. Doc, do you see anything from your account? I know there's YouTube videos too.
Dr.Hess
If I click Home, I get: at the top. do you get that? Also try the Communities "button" thing on the left.
FC
I see it. I need to learn to navigate there. Are there ways to give it visibility?
