Guest Chef Boy-How-Dee Posted May 16, 2006 Report Share Posted May 16, 2006 Them pork bellies is where you get "streak-o-lean" from.....best use is in a big kettle of pinto beans! take a 4 inch square and slice it from the inside to the rind, boil it in with the beans.......also good with cabbage, Butter beans, "Leather Britches" and snap beans! Also, the flesh can be sliced thin from the rind, and then fried almost brown and then mixed into "Injun" batter for "Crackling Corn Bread"! ........... when dropped hot into a big glass of cold buttermilk......make ol' Daddy Rabbit wanna hump a bulldog!
