FC Posted May 12, 2007 Report Share Posted May 12, 2007 Dale is a civilian safety guy back on leave from Iraq. I saw him at our church home group meal welcoming him back yesterday. His take and experiences are different from mine, but here's what he had to say: He said morale is sky high. That was news to me. He said they get really mad with the news only reporting the bad. He said Pelosi chewed the 1st Cav general up one side and down the other. I'd love to slap that woman silly. Sounds like she was over there. He thinks the great majority of Iraqis want what we want, but a small number are troublemakers. He said the Iraqis are easily intimidated. Somebody showing power goes a long way. Personally, I don't like the Iraqis very well, for the most part. Money and power mean way more than they do even here. It is everything to them.
