Took A Turk To The Range.

Fellas.

I went the range yesterday.

. 22 Rom Mouse gun

MM P-1

03 Turk.

The P1 shot ok. The large groups were my fault .

The .22 was hitting base ball size rocks at 50 to 100 meters.

The Turk was the hero of the day.

Using 1938 Turk ammo, the per-war ammo was by far the best of the Turk ammo, it blew the 2X2 foot iron plate off the mount at 240 meters. I had to walk down range and reset it, Them's the rules, but I was grinning all the way.

At 50 meters, firing from sand bags I had some touching groups.

I am proud of this rifle as it was the first one I did major work on.

I shortened the barrel, re crowned it than re did the stock reshaping the butt, free floating the barrel, bending the bolt(that I had done, but had to correct as the fella did a bad job) reworked the trigger, mounted a front sight and reshaped a K-31

mojo rear sight.

It would never do for a purist, but it looks good and shoots well.
