The Hippy, like all wives, is in love with the idea of Hawaii. She asked me to ask you about it. She watches the Bounty Hunter show( I hate that guy) which is located in Honolulu, and they seem to be arresting tons of crack and speed addicts. Is there a lot of this type of crime there? It seems like the whole island is on crack. What does your wife think of it?

I don't know yet how bad drugs are here. I will tell you that there is a LOT of gang graffiti here. The homes are also lower quality than I thought they would be.

From what I've read, Hawaii has the biggest ice methamphetamine problem in the country. They supposedly grow the most potent pot too. Doesn't surprise me at all. We don't get confronted as much in the military with drugs, so Barbara and I haven't had to deal with addicts here. There is a lot of theft here, probably for drug money. I'm glad military homes have security checkpoints.

Anywhere there are humans there is trouble.

The accent of the locals here is really hard to understand sometimes. The nature is pretty though.

You are right about people and trouble..but any state where I cannot have my guns is not for me.
