karlunity Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 To be fair to Obama on Iran. Obama is trying to talk Iran around. Well, what else can he do? The only other path is war. Not that I am opposed to war with Iran, I remember the hostages and the burning American flags. But will the American people support a war with Iran at this time? Do we have the troops? Do we have the political will to victory "what ever the cost may be"? I think that answer is no. I'm afraid it will take something pretty drastic like a bio attack or suitcase nuke before our leaders will grow a set of balls. I remember the way Carter let the Iranians bully us. It probably wont be long before Obama faces a crisis in the Middle East. I sure hope he has the testicular fortitude to stand up to the Iranians, Saudi's or whomever tests his will.
