karlunity
The new "Reconstruction" If you read any of the older American History texts, the ones published past 1970 are revisionist PC BS, you will be forced to draw the conclusion that what we are going through now is very similar, but not yet, thank God, as bad as what the South had to endure under reconstruction. Read up on that and it will as the French say give you to think. Karl __________________
Dr.Hess
Karl, I, too, reached this same conclusion recently. And the same tactics are being used on us. Lets just hope that the aftermath is not as long and destructive as after the last "Reconstruction." What do the "new history" books say? Do they mention that it was about reconstruction like the Chinese "Cultural Revolution" was about culture?
karlunity
Hello Dr. Hess. The new and improved history of Reconstruction runs like this: The rich plantation owners incited the poor whites to hate and fear the freed slaves and noble freedom loving men of the north, Solon's all,who gave of themselves to spread freedom and liberty, with no wish to soil their hands with filthy lucre, a true people's Paradise for all. Dr.Hess
Damn, Karl. This is getting really frightening. What's it say about the Cultural Revolution? I'll bet it's "Uncle Mao, deciding that his people needed more Culture, started a campaign to bring art and music to the culturally starved victims of imperialist capitalist agression, thus starting the Cultural Revolution."
