ShooterTom
It's just such behaviour that his tribe has been expelled from the countries they try to inhabit since recorded history. My guess is the people running those companies can get capitol to start their own. If Soros closes them. Tom

Dr.Hess
I've seen reports of this before. No, I don't think Soros is involved in it. The NRA says the conspiracy theory stuff is bunk. However, I feel that concentrating ownership of the majority of any industry, ESPECIALLY the firearms industry, into one company is a bad thing. Oh, and Cerebus is also the ones that bought Chrysler from Mercedes. They are very powerful political people, and I think they also have some of Uncle Bill's staff in there at the top as well. They are very well cloaked, however. You have to really dig out little bits of information on who spoke on behalf of the company and when to see anything. That's the advantage of not being a public corporation.

The NRA will tell you anything if it will put money in their coffers. The old saying "don't put all your eggs in one basket" should go doubly for firearms companies, but I suspect the Cerebus people are investor/banker types, not gun guys. The gun market is cooling down and will probably cool down even more once the sleeze from massechucettes gets elected and then Ceberus will likely break up the Freedon Group and sell the individual companies.
