Racepres
If you have a picture of the mounts for your 98 or 48/24-47, mauser, I would appreciate it. Either here or at, amradrag@hotmail.com , I may just go w/ a one piece for this project. Having used the weaver 2 piece, I much prefer the steel ones, but, they are small [don't cover all of the uglies I need to cover] the 2 piece redfield's that I have are nice but , require a different "pattern" of mounting holes. So, now I am looking at my first one piece. Thanks in advance.. MV BTW this will be a light 308 on a yugo 48, using either a smallring "plastic"stock reworked, or a wood "reject" from Boyds. roscoedoh
Here's Leupold two piece M98 mounts on my M48. I like them. You can buy them here if they interest you. Here's a picture of them: Click Here I would use them again if the QD and FN bugs hadn't bit me.
Racepres
I do like them, Thanks.Looks like the mounting holes are of the "typical" configuration, Is this so? I am still gonna look at the one piece ones, just to see!! But the one you have shown me give me ideas for another [ongoing] project. Thanks MV
roscoedoh
The spacing of the rear holes may be a little different - but its nothing you can't handle with a Wheeler jig or mill. You'd just have to "stare at it" a little to make them work.
