karlunity
1. Charges are made against a GOP man of sexual misconduct. 2. The charges can't be proved, more importantly can't be DIS-proved. 3. The charges are made at the ideal time to damage the man before an election. 4. The Press runs with it 24/7 carefully making him look guilty but not actually saying it. 5. The usual DIM Politians call for him to drop out. 6. The usual suspect RINO's call for him to drop out. 7. As soon as he drops out or is defeated, the charges instantly disappear without a trace, and you never hear of them again. This technique is a signature move by the Dims and the press (But I repeat myself). They deployed it against.... Trump. Herman Cain. John McCain. Who should have known better then to go after Moore, having been a victim himself. The New York Times accused him of cheating on his wife when he ran for POTUS. Mitt Romney, only no one was buying it that time. George W. Bush. Again, cheating on his wife when he was still drinking AND after. George H.W. Bush. Cheating on the wife. Ronald Reagan. Cheating on his wife and during his Hollywood days.
brokengun
Karl i agree with your analysis. Take the recent attacks on Moore. He has been in public service for almost 50 years ran for various offices. All of the sudden he's __________ [fill in the Blank] Politics in this country has gotten to the point of crazy. karlunity
It has been suggested that he and the people that accuse him take polygraph tests ALL of them...that seems reasonable to me. As of right now, in this matter, I would not trust the GOP brass as far as I can toss the capitol building. karl
karlunity
I was making a case for fair play on some of the PC sites and the sheer hate form the PC especially for the South, I was born in Brooklyn, is mind bending. If some of that stuff was said of black or brown folks, and most of the folks saying it appear to be white, it would be called hate speech. karl
AzRednek
I think Moore has his titty in the ringer and his support is abandoning him. What ever happens I hope the Republicans can some how keep the seat. Hannity issued Moore a challenge, be interesting to see how it turns out. In Moore defense there is a possibility he may have been fooled by the young women. Years ago a friend was fooled by a 13 year old. I met her and other than thinking she wasn't to bright, she had me fooled. What made it so bad the girls single mother played along with the ruse. The young guy she was dating was on his way to Army OCS. Could have cost him his career. When I was in my late 20's I briefly dated a 16 or 17 year old. She claimed she was 20, looked it and we made plans on bar hopping on her upcoming 21st birthday. After her father returned home from working on the Alaskan Pipeline the SHTF. Turned out I wasn't the only older one she was dating and her dad put a stop to it.

AzRednek
Used to be a defense used in Az if one could make a case of being fooled by a mature looking teenager. Law was changed to protect victims of Mexican sex trafficking forcing young girls into prostitution. Now if a John simply solicits an underage hooker he could be prosecuted as a molester. The new law did include what's referred to as the Romeo and Juliette clause. Could be wrong but I think it allows for a 30 month age gap between two consenting partners if one is underage. A 19 year old won't get hammered with his 17 year old partner. Friend of my twin sons got nailed under the old law. He was 18 and girlfriend almost 17. Girl's parents pushed the county attorney's office to prosecute. In the end the guy got his wrist slapped, reduced to a misdemeanor after completing community service but the poor now has to register as a sex offender for life. I'm told he had requested a governors pardon but I don't know if he got it.
