I'll be 64 in June, so you must be class of 78 too? Doc is right- Arkansas is nice, and is affordable. SC is the other inexpensive housing state. You should visit one or both of us sometime and see if that's where you want to live. Texas' lifestyle is nice, but the weather if the opposite sort of unforgiving that you are used to. I really like Birmingham, AL too. The problem with the deep south though is the noticeable racial divide. You get used to it.

That's true. I'm seeing maybe it's the magazine? The last rounds are really tight, and don't get fed. The position, when I pull back the slide, is too horizontal. As far as aftermarket goes, can it take the 8 round mags, or just the 7 round?

I hadn’t thought about that aspect. Everything now has limitations on what you can say and talk about. Plus there’s lots of competition. The cheap surplus rifle days are gone. Remember Tye, Fritz, AZ, and George.

It looks like we're coming to the end of the road after 22 or 23 years. Time for, "So long's". There's a handful of truly free speech places anymore, and the loss of that may be the greatest loss.

I'm getting that sense too. Pity the information over the years is going to be lost. I'll give it about a week for responses.

Rather than me collecting money, just say what you can do. If it doesn't add up, then that's the way it is!

Might be best to see what people think they can do, rather than me getting money right off. I have doubts we can raise this sort of funds now, and in the future.
