I figured my wife needed an Indian name too, so after she stepped into the paint pan I named her Painted Foot. She likes it!

I do not know enough computer junk to get a host, get a site, and use computer magic to html my way through it. Now there is a newer, better version than html, and guess what? I don't know it either! I looked for some time for other managed web sites and came up with little. I sure hope that Elliot Lee fixes this, and that after coming out of the trial version things get better.

Said he will set us up on a licensed version Sunday night. I hope he keeps his word this time. This site is not a one man show. I don't consider this "MY SITE", unless I'm stuck with the perponderance of the bill. If you use it, I ask that you help with the cost. That is only fair. If you don't, I'll be honest, I get a grudge. I work my fanny off for your benefit and now have the bill too. It reminds me of the Little Red Hen. I wish I knew of a site that was easy to set up and reliable, but I don't. Does anybody know of one? A thought would be to re-set the forums on EZ and run two boards concurrently. If one is down, heck, go to the other! I do have a major issue to deal with. Right now I'm on a "trial" site that has poster limitations. I am into the complaint process with my credit card company over the hosting dude of this service. What will happen when I win? Will this shut down?

I warned them and they blew me off like EZBoard blew them off. Their response to me was along the lines of, "What has this got to do with this forum?" It was a general forum.

I asked if they wanted to be treated like those Iraqi women? They just wouldn't back down. One of them said that American Christian men beat their women. I told them that was a lie. I tell ya, I can start to identify with the Founding Fathers. I'm sick of an ever increasingly intrusive and socialistic government. I have been haranged by the Census Bureau to provide the much criticized personal information. It is far too intrusive. It goes beyond your counts. It asks a lot of personal information they don't have any business knowing. In fact, if they want some of that, the Census Bureau can go talk to their comrades at the IRS. I have thrown away both notifications, which warned that by law, I must complete and return the surveys, which benefit your community, blah, blah, blah... Now they called and left a message to call them with my case no. They can kiss my grits! Just like Calif. gun laws, I know it is risky if you live there, but if I did, I would tell them to kiss my grits there too, and public disobedience on a large scale should ensue. If the census people continue to bug me I'll go to my congressman and senators.

I see what you mean. I'm having hard enough of a time finding the right person to talk to about the licensing! Seems there is a big disconnect between the "power board", "free board", and their financial charges. Frustrating!
