  1. I'll try to remember to do that.

EZ Op said to try this to find old stuff. Maybe someone here can get to this before me: Vic was suggesting that you ask for help with looking for copies of your board stored in places such as googles cache, or the wayback machine, which some very tireless and generous ezboard members have been doing for one another.
  3. I heard this too. I have been watching my speed.
  4. Sometimes I've thought that putting an ad in the American Rifleman, Shotgun News, or Fur, Fish, and Game might be a good idea. Money, money!

Pretty much happy with it. I might have a harder time fighting spammers here. This place is FREE. The only thing is they place a banner ad at the bottom of the page and you can't do banner ads (which get to be like too many bumper stickers on a car). We'll see how this goes!

  8. I didn't know about the cut-off dates. I am sorry about that.

They totally avoid taking any responsibility. Bill got phone call service and even a return phone call. Well, the smaller fry's got ignored. I am not sure how much business they will lose, but hopefully they will lose a lot of business and go belly up.

I couldn't return your mail. What would you like to be involved in? Thanks. tony
  11. Those of you who gave funds since the Sept. payoff- please contact your credit card company and file a complaint against EZBoard. AZ, I think you were one of them.
  12. Good for you! I struggled with algebra too. Which career path would you rather choose?
  13. Well Tye, if you were given to doing website management, computing, moving posts, and deleting spam posts I would have put you on as moderator. I think your gift is in the "dept. of pith and knowledge". Sounds like a title in the making. I need people who will deal with problems when I'm not online. For instance, CG called me from Canada in the middle of the night to tell me that a kid was ruining the sporterizing forum by spam posting. It was pushing posts off pg. 20 and into oblivion. Fritz and Karl have actively dealt with posters, and Tom is willing to do computing. Lynn and C.G. about ought to be moderators.

    Too True

  15. Well, out of the adminstrators, they are the ones who actively managed posts, deleted them, had public lynchings, and did other business that was needed. If Ol' Tye wants to do some lynching I will let him. Just need the big word.
  16. You made my day buddy. Thank you for the letter. Be sure to post!
  17. That big smile says it all!
  18. Thank you again Lynn for moving all that stuff over here.
  19. Someone who looked into the Better Business Bureau said that EZ is listed in San Francisco as non-profit/charity. The last time I experienced internet fraud, which was a long time ago, the credit card company said they charge the company complained about $150, irregardless of guilt. I hate to say this, but I make a rotten enemy (EZBoard will have fear and trembling for my headaches). EZ has not restored who gave what, so there is no one who knows who gave the $132 or so.
  20. About EZBoards deception, supposed charity status, non-refund of monies to you folks, and empty promises of secure backups. It may accomplish nothing, but at least I'm trying to get justice. There are lots of boards up in arms. My Webpage
  21. Iran has a considerable submarine force (diesel), and a large Army. Air power would destroy a facility, but not overcome the regime. Alas, more war. Maybe Israel will do the deed.
  22. Does anybody have Bill Soverns stock refinishing tips/method? If so, please post it. Also, I'm interested in any other archived stuff, or accurizing stuff, etc. Here it is! http://www.invisionplus.net/forums/index.p...c&showtopic=208

    Flintlock Hints

Scotchbrite on jag. CO2, to dislodge stuck balls, from Log Cabin Shop 330-948-1082 Try 3F for primer. Doesn’t go to mush so easy. Probably holds more O2. Has a graphite glaze.

    All right!

Thank you for the offers for help. Frankly, despite the terrible losses, I am excited about a "new home" here. This place is free, which I like. The only real concern I have is that posts last longer than 90 days. I'll have to look into it some more.
