5 or 6 folk's alone in the (northern) wildnerness. With a spring arrival. I was just wondering what if say 5 or 6 of us guy's or gal's with minimum retirement income were to combine thier monies. Could we survive a winter in the north? Some where were we could hunt , look for food and nuts in the fall, winter meat when the season is right should be no problem. Building a shelter for 6, Suppling a wood supply for heat, preserving the food all these could present a problem. However if we only had $4000.00 a month and worked together could we do it? Or would it cost more? Or are the risk's of all working together the negative factor? Swamprat

I told you folks months ago. The secound guaranteed the right to firearms not the right to ammunition (powder or shot). The anti's finally relized you can't fight the 2nd but you can stop the ownership of powder and ball. When they are done you will be able to own a Browning 50 cal machine gun. Of course it will be for display only as possession of an explosive powder in any form will carry the automatic death sentence. Its a bolt action single shot made by Stevens. It's an early model 15 without a butt plate. However the retail seller had thier name (JIM BROWN) put on the gun and not the Stevens name. Its this company i'm asking for info on. Thanks Swamprat

I purchased a 22 single shot rifle with the name Jim Brown. I have learned it is a Stevens early model 15. Stevens made several of thier guns marked with sellers name instead of Stevens. I am looking for info on Jim Brown. I bought this rifle because of the name. A real close friend of mine by the same name passed away from lung cancer. I bought this gun to restore as a rememberance to him. I would really like info on this Jim Brown. Thanks Swamprat
